Adverbs are in the same class of words as adjectives, so they are also formed with the suffix -i except when modifying other adverbs or adjectives where the suffix is doubled to -iri. Adverbs are placed directly before the word they qualify.

mo rapidi mi kin fu domo.

I quick before go to home.

I went home quickly.

Common Adverbs

ti = then; (at) that time

ci = now; (at) this time

mi = before; previously; earlier; in the past

fi = later (on); afterward; in the future

gi = always

pi = possibly

ni = not

ui = somehow

hi = how; in what manner
