Morphemes are based upon the following structures where C represents a consonant, a consonant combination or a semivowel, V represents a vowel or diphthong.

o = Vocative particle.
ai = Exclamatory particle (!).
e = Subject particle.
a = Object particle.

Grammatical and derivational suffixes

-a passive. (ies = eat; iesa = be eaten)
-e performer (fab = build; fabe = builder)
-o manifestation (vid = see; vido = sighting)
-i qualifier (boni = good; well)
-ai female (bovai = cow)
-au male (bovau = bull)

VC

Derivational suffixes

ausC numerical (duvi = two; duvausi = million)
iC relational (megi = big; megisi = bigger ; megiti = biggest)
uC noun forms derived from verbs (kin = go; kinus = vehicle)

CV

Pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions and other common words

Ca common conjunctions (ka = and) and other particles (ha = ?)
Ce miscellaneous particles (je)
Ci common adjectives and adverbs (ci = this; ti = that, etc.)
Co pronouns (mo = I, me; fo = you; lo = he, she, it, they)
Cu basic prepositions (tu = at; mu = from)
