SASXSEK Reference:Names

From SASXSEK

Jump to: navigation, search

In Sasxsek, proper nouns and their derivatives are not restricted by the same phonotactical rules as common vocabulary so almost any combination of phonemes may be found.

Proper nouns are not capitalized, but instead are introduced by either the adjective li (this/that which is called), or attached to a noun by the preposition lu (by the name of; called). Names which contain more than a single word should use apostrophes ( ' ) or be enclosed in quotation marks < >. Native spellings could be used but are indicated by square brackets [ ]. Below are some examples of what are considered to be proper nouns in Sasxsek. Take special note that there are some categories here (ex: sports) which are considered common nouns in English.
